Using the #thetreesarealive on instagram, share your photos of the tree installations throughout Leeds or photos of any small-scale installations either created at the It's alive children's workshop on 7th August, or photos of you're own monster creations inspired by The trees are alive project.
Terms and Conditions
By participating, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition is open to residents of Leeds and surrounding areas. Parents or guardians must assist children and use their own Instagram accounts to participate.
Entry Method
Share your photo on Instagram with the hashtag #thetreesarealive. Ensure your account is public so we can view your entry.
Photo Criteria
Including but not limited to:
Creative composition and approach.
Use of personifaction.
Use of natural, found or recycled materials.
Interaction with the installation.
Must be taken in and around Leeds city centre.
Fun factor.
Judging
A panel of judges will select the winner based on Photo Criteria.
Prize
The winner will receive £50 worth of art materials.
The winner will be announced on TheTreesAreAlive.com website and our social media channels by September 12th.
The winner must provide their contact details within 30 days of the announcement. If the prize is not claimed within 30 days, it will be considered null and void.
General Conditions
By entering, participants grant TheTreesAreAlive.com the right to use, repost, and share submitted photos on our website and social media channels, with credit to the photographer. Participants must ensure they have permission from any individuals featured in their photos.The competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
TheTreesAreAlive.com reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition if necessary.

Participants take part in the competition and any related activities at their own risk.

Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children during participation.
